a class that's paying off

It was attributed to my mad nursing skills, but really it was a wilderness first aid class that came to the rescue. In my jujitsu class (I take judo and brazilian jujitsu now) a guy had a minor shoulder dislocation. He was trying to figure out how to get it in, and another guy who is no stranger to shoulder dislocations tried to get it in, but a few minutes later his shoulder was still out and they turned to me as the nurse to save the day. I kneel down and 30 seconds later the shoulder was in and the pain was gone. Yay me! If it weren't for that first aid course I wouldn't have had a clue what to do. 4-5 years later, the course pays off.
