seeing red

At work the charge nurse has their name written in red on the board. That means anytime anyone has a question, they ask you. When someone needs to admit a patient to the unit, they call you. And if anything goes wrong, you get to share responsibility. Today was the first day my name was in red. I didn't really enjoy it. I much prefer to be support staff then managing things. Sadly, my name is bound to be in red a lot more now. sigh. Where's that ice cream?....
